One Way Vices to Tighten Coated Wire, 12 and 12 1/2 Gauge Fence Wire
For anchoring 12.5 gauge and 12 gauge wire fence. it is recommended that a "one-way vice" be used. The one-way vice eliminates weaknesses caused by knotting. Use this size for each 12½ gauge wire on your fence. To install drill a 7⁄16" hole through the end post and pull the wire through. Then put the Anchor Vice on the wire and tap it lightly into the hole. If final tensioning is to be done with the Quick-End, pull the wire to the end post with a chain grab, then push the slack through the hole and Quick-End.
